Bikepacking to the coast
Three days, bags on the frame, and a tent that smelled of last year.
Oskar Falk
I strapped everything to the bike. Tent, sleeping bag, a stove, too much coffee. Then I rode west for three days until the road ended at the sea.
Most of it was gravel and forest. I slept by a lake the first night and in a farmer's field the second, after asking.
At the coast
I sat on a rock with the bike next to me and ate a whole packet of biscuits. Then I took the train home. Nobody said you have to ride back.
