Reading the sky before the forecast
I check the app every morning. Then I look up and decide for myself.
My father never used a forecast. He looked west in the morning and said what the day would bring. He was right more often than the radio.
I try to do the same. Clouds that pile up dark and fast mean stay home. High thin streaks mean wind tomorrow. I write down what I guess and what happened.
My record
About sixty per cent. The app does better. I still look up first, every morning, because it keeps me looking up.
