London from the bridge

A work trip, one free afternoon, and a bridge I walked over three times.

Freja Ås

I had four hours between meetings. I walked down to the river and over the bridge by the clock tower. Then back. Then over again.

The city looks different from the middle of the water. The buildings stand back from you. Buses go past like red bricks.

Tourists

Everyone was taking the same photo of the tower. I took it too. Then I turned around and took one of the other way, the river and the boats, which nobody else seemed to want.

The photo of the other way is always the better one.
